TZMP conducts regular Paraplane patrols between 500 to 1500 ft AGL, at 25-35mph. Paraplanes, or Powered Parachutes can be used for close air support reconnaissance, ground skimming operations, or STO arial light sport maneuvers, and are conducted under part 103 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.

The two primary control methods are accelerating engine power to control vertical rate of climb and deflecting the trailing edge of the parachute to turn the aircraft right or left. By flaring the chute a TZ pilot slows and temporarily gains additional lift, generally used during low-altitude flight and landing.

Paraplanes and helicopters are well equipped for near-ground flight
The power-off glide ratio of a powered parachute ranges from 3:1 to 6:1. Pilots must adjust flight patterns for the main hazards one faces while flying a powered parachute, associated with wind and obstacles. Flight should not be attempted in winds exceeding 10-15 mph or in gusty conditions Wind hazards include terrain-induced air disturbances called rotors and wake turbulence created by the passage of other aircraft referred to as wingtip vortices. DEPARTMENTS
All activities conducted by Teame Zazzu are operated under officially designated TZ Departments, each of which performs authorized coordinated action in conjunction with interdepartmental support units as determined by mission profiles, research orders, committee requests, maintenance requirements, unit traditions, and in accordance with lawful orders issued by properly designated legal authorities, training interfaces and partner agencies

DEEP END DOGS: It's a big training day for all eligible K9 trainees when they move from shallow water to immersion training.

After familiarization exercises in rivers, streams, and shallow pools, the K9 units are moved to indoor TZK9 deep pool facilities and don their lifejackets. It's important that trainers avoid causing anxiety or traumatic reactions while the animals take to the water and make their first swim.

TZK9 MULTIDOG MUSH: TZK9 pack members ride out together during mounted patrol training.

Increasing levels of cooperative training steadily improve each pack members performance over time.

OPERATION SNOWDRIFT: Tracked emergency response vehicles for rescuing stranded detached groups are used during active field operations during extreme winter conditions.

TZ operatives coordinated with emergency response personnel to conduct high-hazard rescues of operational groups in the wilderness environment. Blizzard conditions neutralized 4x4 transport vehicles and pinned groups down during the night.

TZMP ASYMMETRICAL DRONE OPERATIONS: TZMP operators utilize reflective transmissions to piggyback drone signals for consolidated control of multiple air and land drones.

By tasking the Kazi aerial drone via electro-optical object recognition to the ground ROV5 the drone pilot was able to utilize the rover's PWM radio signal operating at 2.4 GHZ to control both drone assets simultaneously.
